For those wondering what's been happening in the House of Thumbs camp, read on...

While this website may not have received a whole lot of love in the last few months, that's because the Thumbs have been busy doing what the Thumbs do best - tearing up venue after venue, and putting down new tracks for the successor to 2010's "Crossing the Rubicon".

We've had an utter whirlwind start to 2010 - numerous packed shows, and some fruitful appearances at Belcompton's The Basement have been absolute highlights. We've drunk hard, played hard, and made friends along the way that we consider family now!

But in the words of guitar powerhouse N.Z. Lord - "It's time to stop fucking around! COME ONNNN!"

The Thumbs are currently whittling away at 30 odd tracks, carefully cutting and selecting the material that will shatter your ear drums, upon release of the yet to be titled second album. It's heavier, more mature, and utterly relentless - an evolution of everything that comprises of the House of Thumbs sound. Since we're feeling generous - here's a small clip from pre-production to give you a taste of what to expect:

We have a selection of shows booked to see out the year, but the focus will be on delivering our second release before the end of 2011.
